The subjects I took were so interesting, it really did not feel like I was learning at all. I feel I have really achieved something worthwhile and am likely going to pass the diploma with 60 distinctions; a feat which has paved my way into a top university.
Now I know what my future holds: three years at Leeds University where I will study English Language and Literature. I am truly grateful for the second chance, which has completely changed my life.
My ‘access experience’ has been so positive that I have encouraged other family members to enrol as well. My husband will be starting in September 2013, while my daughter hopes to attend in the following year. It isn’t just one life that will be altered by my experience; the knock-on effect will help my family for many years to come.
